Enforcement

The Capital Development Board (CDB) does not enforce the Illinois Accessibility Code. The Disability Rights Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General enforces it alongside federal laws that protect the rights of people with disabilities to equal access to buildings, housing, and services.

For more information about disability rights in Illinois or to file a disability claim contact the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.
