CDB Design-Build Projects

As one entity, the design-build team works under a single contract to provide design and construction services. A bridging firm assists with the preliminary design and development of the request for proposal, working with CDB and the user agency to develop the project scope and performance criteria. CDB then incorporates this information into a request for proposal for design-build teams. The selection process attributes 75% of the weighted selection criteria to technical evaluation factors, such as quality, experience, performance, compliance with project objectives, and 25% of the weighted selection criteria to the total project cost and schedule.
