Notification of Vacancies for the Illinois Energy Conservation Advisory Council

The Capital Development Board (CDB) has begun the process of updating the Illinois Energy Conservation Code by adopting the 2021 International Energy Conservation Code and considering Illinois specific amendments.   

There are openings on the Illinois Energy Conservation Advisory Council that need to be filled.  There are three open positions that represent the following areas of our industry:

• Illinois Licensed Electrical Engineer
• Illinois Licensed Architect  
  
• Commercial Contractor
  

Candidate recommendations must come from organizations that represent the specific fields that the individual will represent.  The recommendations cannot come from individuals. Follow the links for more information about how to submit a recommendation. 

CDB allows existing council members whose terms have expired, that are interested in continuing to sit on the council, to submit their information as well.  All candidates will be evaluated and a final decision will be made by the CDB Executive Director.

Submittals are due on or before August 13, 2021.
