2026 Stretch Energy Code Proposals
The public proposal period for the 2026 Illinois Stretch Energy Code has ended.
The current 2026 Draft Codes are shown below:
- 2026 Illinois Commercial Stretch Energy Code Draft 11-20-25
- 2026 Illinois Residential Stretch Energy Code Draft 10-28-25
Anyone wishing to submit a letter of support or opposition to a code proposal may send a letter via email to cdb.energycodes@illinois.gov no later than 5/31/25. Letters will not be published on this website, but will be reviewed by the ILECAC during the proposal review period. Support/opposition letters must include the proposal number which can be found in the upper right portion of the proposal form.
