Project Description:
The Office of the Illinois State Treasurer (“Treasurer”) owns the Marine Bank Building (“Building”) located at One East Old State Capitol Plaza, Springfield, Illinois. The east exterior wall of the Building was recently exposed following the demolition of an adjacent structure. This project entails repairs along the east wall including but not limited to the following: removal of temporary waterproofing; repair and replacement of sections of the underlying CMU infill walls; removal and resetting/replacement of stone panels; installation of a new air/moisture barrier and flashing system; installation of a new elastomeric coating along the east wall of the penthouse; and the installation of an EIFS with drainage system along the east elevation in order to mimic the appearance of the adjoining stone cladding.
