The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) is conducting a series of public meetings on its Business Enterprise Program (BEP) to give stakeholders an opportunity to discuss the program. These public meetings are part of CMS’ Disparity Study, to obtain, clarify and analyze evidence of contracting processes which may cause disparate impact to underserved business communities.
The Department’s efforts are to ensure inclusion of all firms in CMS contracting opportunities and that the BEP meets these objectives. Stakeholders and community members are encouraged to participate.
