Earthquake Safety Training

In the Illinois Emergency Operation Plan, CDB is tasked with responding during a disaster by providing technical engineering and architectural staff capable of evaluating damage to public facilities and conducting post-earthquake safety inspections of buildings. Pre-disaster, they must also provide qualified staff to assess the structural safety of mass care shelter facilities.
